At first i want to say this is a great forum! :-)
Yesterday i bought a E-Ten M800 and i wanted to install iGO v8 on it.
But it was terribly slow... but on my old vario 1 (windows mobile 5.1 200mhz) it was running faster and better than on my m800.
So i searched a few hours and finnaly i found an answer to the problems.
Often i get an error 'out of memory' or the animated menu buttons where verryyyy slow.
But a few minutes ago i found this rar file with some files. When i copied them to SDMMC\iGO and program files\iGO folders on my phone and i runned nav n go again...PROBLEMS SOLVED!!
I made a route demo with all options on (3d buildings etc.) from rotterdam to leukerbad (switzerland) over 1200 km and no problems!
I hope som people can use this info to!

You can download this rar file here: http://rapidshare.co...1.2008.rar.html

Good luck!

Bye!

and to solve the problem with igo8 v54000 (from posting above) and the taskbar after closing:
http://rapidshare.co...06_08_41506.rar

download, exract, overwrite application.dat and iGO8.exe in your igo8 folder.
deinstall igo8, reset. In case the new installiation doesn't start by itself, remove SD-card and insert it again.
otherwise start autorun.exe in folder 2577

Max, I'm a bit lost. Are you suggesting to downgrade from 54000 to version 41506 to fix the "Out of memory" problem?

Hello,

i cannot start "IGO8" on my M800.
at the moment i have flashed "boge 0802 ger latest release" on it.

after starting my device i have round about 25 mb of free memory.

how free mb i need to start igo8 withhout problems like error-messages "out of memory"

I'm very happy when you can tell me wich is the best "igo8" version for m800...

thanks...

IF you have probs with these Boge-ROMs,
THEN good luck by getting back an orignal ROM
ELSE iGo needs about ~20MB for a good job. With 25mb it should run perfectly.
GOTO post 1 and 2 for the best iGo-version for your M800
END

with "Basemap8_2007.07_080117" and "8_2008.01_080215" maps the app works for a bit, after some commands it crashes :-(
