Can you or someone else translate the PDF changelog from Polish to English? It seems to say that they have addressed some bluetooth issues among other things but I'd like to know if it's worth upgrading or not.

I did a machine translation from Polish to English, I'm posting what I can figure out.

The changelog for the 0263 ROM:

Do you think this is an official release? I can't see it neither on Glofiish site, nor on etencorp.com. Actually I don't see anymore not even the pdf manual under the X600 downloads... strange.
Anyway, I wouldn't install it yet!

Does someone want to install this and see how it works? I just got my x600 the way I like it and I don't want to mess with it unless it fixes major issues like a soft-reset when plugged into the computer disabling Activesync.

I did a hard reset 3 days ago, so I wouldn't do it again;) Also it's pretty unsecure to do it as a previous ROM doesn't exist. If it fails what can we do?

Yes, it's a Worldwide English ROM.

by thorough checking It seems that this ROM Is Intented to be run within Windows XP
any users that have sucessfuly upgraded within Windows Vista plz post your sucess!

I'm running Vista on my laptop and have unsuccesfully attempted to install the new ROM. Will try in a moment on the XP PC of my girlfriend. I hope for more success here.

EDIT: I've tried several times on Vista to update, but although a new driver is installed, the ROM will not install. No idea if this is a known issue, but installing the new ROM from XP went flawless.

Hi there! Can someone check the bt headset audio volume and quality? Could we expect the known issues to be solved with this rom? There's a lot of us potential buyers expecting the solution before buying this device! Thanks in advance!

Installing the ROM from an XP PC gives no problems at all. Since this was my very first ROM-update *ever* I was somewhat startled by the fact that I had to reinstall all my downloaded programs, but I had made backups of all my user files, so not many problems there.

I cannot compare the sound of the headset with the earlier ROM, because I don't use my headset then (or ever), and I don't listen to music with my X600 (that's what iPods are for), but a short test using WMplayer gave no problems at all, a nice sound, and a satisfactory volume

The bluetooth sound quality was bad even for making calls, the other end could not hear or understand you.Perhaps you could check that too? My special interest in the bluetooth transferred audio is because I just got an A2DP headset (no ipod or iphone supporting that yet, is there? ;) ) so I would be utterly dsappointed if I could not use it well with the X600. Thanks again for the feedback mate!

No significant improvement of the audio through bluetooth, to other party.
